I am an illustrator, visual artist and designer and my work often concerns personal/collective memory as well as the human condition, explored in moments of transition and  often seen through a historical or philosophical context. My images rely heavily on creating a dark, nostalgic, memory-infused atmosphere that plays a crucial role in my story telling and I often try to represent worlds that are long gone and yet continue to be vital and living parts of our everyday. My process is marked by continuous experimentation both with materials and techniques. Numerous sketches with diverse materials, photography and printmaking are layered and manipulated again and again in a non linear journey in the making of the final image.

I have a Masters degree in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts , UAL.

I also studied Interior Architecture, Decorative Arts and Design at the Technological Educational Institution of Athens.
